Dylan Attends Christmas Parades

The Orlando Christmas Parade was the first of 4 parades that Dylan and his race truck participated in this season. His race truck decorated with lights and checkered flags looked great sitting up on a brand new open deck trailer supplied by Southern Wholesale Trailers out of Lakeland. The parade had over 80 entries and passed by more than 3,500 people. Dylan had a chance to talk with some of the local Shriner’s from Orlando. Joey Coulter 200 Charity Truck Race

“Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines”, rang loud at 7:12pm all through Auburndale on Saturday night at Auburndale Speedway as the Joey Coulter 200 Charity race was about to start. The drivers had just finished up an incredible autograph session which included Joey Coulter autographing hero cards, football players and dancers from the Lakeland Raiders handing out 2013 schedules, drivers signing and giving away everything from hats, t-shirts and candy to Dylan’s special contribution to the charity families…their very own coloring book. Dylan’s cousin, Kristyn Ardrey designed a 20 page coloring book filled with all types of animals racing and the kids with Dylan in victory circle. But this wasn’t the only thing Dylan Martin had been working on; this young man presented a $6,000 check to Rick Bristol for the families. He has been just as busy off the track as he has been on. Dylan found numerous businesses that believe in what the charity race stands for. Dylan gets that drive and caring heart from his parents, Michael and Staci Martin. His parents received the “Tommy Hopkins Big Heart Award” in recognition of their heart to help others in need and willingness to give.

Teen Truck Racer Gathers Money For Charity Event

AUBURNDALE | Dylan Martin, a teenage truck racer, aims for the checkered flag every time he takes his black Chevrolet out on the track. And he's no less competitive when it comes to raising money for charity.

When Martin and other drivers gather Saturday for the seventh annual Joey Coulter Charity 200 Race Weekend at Auburndale Speedway, Martin hopes to be holding "the big check." That's a replica check of the checks that will be presented to families who will benefit from the fundraiser.

Dyaln Martin Talks to Kids About Safety

Sept. 13, 2012 - Dylan Martin went to visit some of the kids at Futurecare Learning Center in Auburndale, FL. He spoke to them about how important it is to wear their seat belts and sit in their car seats. They got a laugh when he told him he pretty much sits in a car seat too when he races, it is just a little bigger. Dylan also expressed how he has to wear his helmet to protect his head, sounds simple to us but the kids thought it was really cool to have their bicycle helmets compared to a really cool racing helmet.

The kids had a chance to ask Dylan questions and the best one of the day was, "so why do you race your truck if you know you are going to wreck?" I believe Dylan gained a lot of fans that day. He had a great time with all the kids, but I had a heck of a time keeping him off the playground. He will be returning in a couple months to see all the kids and they will actually have the opportunity to sit in Dylan's race seat. Dylan feels like if he can help protect just one child, get one more kid to always buckle up, then he has made a difference.

A Champion is Crowned

Winter Haven, FL - Dylan Martin walked into Auburndale Speedway knowing that he had to do one thing, win the championship. Not only was this the "Triple Crown" for the Pro Truck Division out of Florida, but the main sponsor was also "his" sponsor - Blackwater Integration (

Not only was Dylan good right off the truck, he was untouchable! Martin qualified position one and held off every truck at the race track to win the race and take home the Triple Crown Championship.

"We worked long and hard for this race and championship, I can't thank everyone enough!" said the drive after the race was over. Congratulations to Dylan and his entire crew on the win. Dylan would like to thank the following people: Blackwater Integration, Big Star Studios, Madd Monkey Racing and

Action in Florida

Tampa, FL -- You wanted action? You got it. Dylan Martin made his return to the Pro Truck at Desoto Super Speedway on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 - as a packed crowd filed in to watch the races, they were not disappointed with the outcome.

During Dylan's heat race, he would start in the fourth position and quickly make his way to second. An "ill-handling" truck would for him to settle for that position and put him on the outside of the first row for the feature event. The crew, consisting of: Michael Martin, Dylan Martin, Race Garcia, Scott Ardrey and Brandon Martin would work feverishly to make the truck the best it could be for the feature event.

Dylan rolled off second in the feature event and while fighting for the lead, he was pushing into the outside wall, launching his truck five feet into the air and blowing out his tire. Once the yellow came out he was able to make his way back to pit road so the crew could change the tire, but by this time the toe, camber and caster were all knocked out and the suspension was bent.

Once the race got back under way, Dylan had to feel out his truck and got into the outside wall on lap number six do to the truck being damaged and the handling characteristics being changed. After ripping the the door panel and quarter panel off his truck, Dylan set on a mad dash toward the front; taking the lead with four laps to go. While entering the third turn, Dylan would miss his marks and looped the truck coming out of turn four.

On the last restart of the evening, Dylan was able to work his way back toward the front and finish second on a green, white, checkered finish. Oh and he was doing all of this with no communication with his spotter.

Dylan Martin and Madd Monkey Racing would like to thank:

Blackwater Integration, Big Star Studios and and their newest partner, Sine Wave Engineering.
