Christmas is Here

3It's that time of year again when friends and family think about the Christmases of the past and plan for the coming holiday with their loved ones in mind. As we reflect on this wonderful holiday, we must keep in mind that Christmas is not just any holiday but may be the most important one of the year for some people. It is a time for remembering, a time to share the goodness of your heart with others, and for expressing with words and gifts what someone means to you. It is a chance to make wishes come true and to give something from your heart.

May this holiday season sparkle and shine, may all of your wishes and dreams come true, and may you feel this happiness all year round. Merry Christmas

Donation CheckWe said we would get back to you with the final number for the total funds raised for the C.A.R.S. Racing For A Cause, Inc. kids. We are proud to announce that on Saturday, December 12th, Dylan Martin Racing presented a check to C.A.R.S. in the amount of $12,724.77. We are honored to have been a part of this amazing organization to help 3 precious families. The efforts of so many went into this record-high donation for Dylan Martin Racing. We are so thankful for each person and business that donated large and small. Everyone’s help added up to the largest donation that DMR has been able to give to C.A.R.S. It’s with great celebration that Rick Bristol with C.A.R.S. announced that C.A.R.S. will be presenting a check to each family in the amount of $11,121.20. For the last 10 years, this is Rick’s final year with C.A.R.S. and with that he was able to present the families with a record-high check. Thank you all for your support throughout this entire season. We are truly grateful for your passion to help touch the lives of Maci, Lucas and Skyla.

Charity 200 Weekend

Weekend ScheduleToday is the start of the Joey Coulter Charity 200 race weekend. This is the weekend that we've all been waiting for all season long. With the efforts of so many, we've been raising funds for these 3 special kids and this weekend we get to celebrate with them. Come be a part of a great event and help to make this a special weekend for them. Gates open at 5pm today. We've shared the schedule below.

Fundraising-Thermometer-Goal-Reached-850x600Dylan Martin Racing has reached the goal of raising $10,000 for the C.A.R.S. Racing For A Cause, Inc. kids. With the help of so many we have gone over and above the goal. Between businesses donating items for raffle prizes, friends/fans/family buying raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets, eating great food at some really great local restaurants, spreading the word about these 3 special kids and through your prayers we have raised over $10,000 in 2015. The Joey Coulter Charity 200 race is just around the corner and just in time to present C.A.R.S. with a large check to help make a difference in the lives of Maci, Lucas and Skyla before the holidays. We can’t thank each of you enough for being a part of this and helping to touch these families. We are still accepting donations throughout the month of December and we are thrilled to have received so much support throughout this whole year. We will share more details of the final donation amount as the time draws closer, but we wanted you all to know how excited and thankful we are that we’ve not only met the goal – but exceeded it.

Dylan Debuts at New Smyrna Speedway

IMG_2645As the crew rolled into New Smyrna Speedway Friday night for Dylan's debut race in the Super Late Model at the high bank 1/2 mile track, there was a sense of excitement. The team has been rained out of the last couple races and it looked like we had a good chance of getting this one in. Friday night's practice session was hot and steamy in Florida style, but that did not slow down the team from laying down some good lap times throughout the practice. Chad, Nick, Brandon and Dylan were working hard all night making adjustments and every tweak made the car that much better. At the end of the night the crew loaded up the car in anticipation of race day. It was time to get a good night's sleep and be ready for a long race day.
