A Champion is Crowned

Winter Haven, FL - Dylan Martin walked into Auburndale Speedway knowing that he had to do one thing, win the championship. Not only was this the "Triple Crown" for the Pro Truck Division out of Florida, but the main sponsor was also "his" sponsor - Blackwater Integration (www.blackwaterint.com).

Not only was Dylan good right off the truck, he was untouchable! Martin qualified position one and held off every truck at the race track to win the race and take home the Triple Crown Championship.

"We worked long and hard for this race and championship, I can't thank everyone enough!" said the drive after the race was over. Congratulations to Dylan and his entire crew on the win. Dylan would like to thank the following people: Blackwater Integration, Big Star Studios, Madd Monkey Racing TBQMRA.com and Racerboost.com.

Action in Florida

Tampa, FL -- You wanted action? You got it. Dylan Martin made his return to the Pro Truck at Desoto Super Speedway on Saturday, July 16th, 2011 - as a packed crowd filed in to watch the races, they were not disappointed with the outcome.

During Dylan's heat race, he would start in the fourth position and quickly make his way to second. An "ill-handling" truck would for him to settle for that position and put him on the outside of the first row for the feature event. The crew, consisting of: Michael Martin, Dylan Martin, Race Garcia, Scott Ardrey and Brandon Martin would work feverishly to make the truck the best it could be for the feature event.

Dylan rolled off second in the feature event and while fighting for the lead, he was pushing into the outside wall, launching his truck five feet into the air and blowing out his tire. Once the yellow came out he was able to make his way back to pit road so the crew could change the tire, but by this time the toe, camber and caster were all knocked out and the suspension was bent.

Once the race got back under way, Dylan had to feel out his truck and got into the outside wall on lap number six do to the truck being damaged and the handling characteristics being changed. After ripping the the door panel and quarter panel off his truck, Dylan set on a mad dash toward the front; taking the lead with four laps to go. While entering the third turn, Dylan would miss his marks and looped the truck coming out of turn four.

On the last restart of the evening, Dylan was able to work his way back toward the front and finish second on a green, white, checkered finish. Oh and he was doing all of this with no communication with his spotter.

Dylan Martin and Madd Monkey Racing would like to thank:

Blackwater Integration, Big Star Studios and Racerboost.com and their newest partner, Sine Wave Engineering.

Dylan Martin Sweeps World Formula and Senior Animal

Tampa, FL -- Today marked an historic event for the Mad Monkey Racing team, Dylan Martin and all of his partners and friends; Today would be Dylan's last race in a Quarter Midget at the TBQMA track in Tampa, Florida. Dylan will be moving on to his truck soon and leaving his illustrious career in Quarter Midgets behind.

Dylan, now without a cast on his arm, showed up at the track on a nice, warm Florida day and was determined to go out on top and that's exactly what he did.

The first race up for Dylan was the World Formula race in which Dylan told his crew that the car was extremely loose, but Dylan was able to move his line around and enter the corner sooner to "early apex" the corner and make it more drivable coming off. This skill and driver "know how" propelled Dylan to a win even with an ill-handling car.

The second race up was the Senior Animal, in which Dylan has had much success with this year and in the past. The car was handling right and Dylan was able to drive away by over a half of a lap and win with ease.

The goal coming into the final race was to finish well and go out on a high note, the team did just that and swept both races. Congratulations to the entire Mad Monkey Racing crew and Dylan Martin.

Dylan would like to thank: Blackwater Integration, Big Star Studios and Racerboost.com
